About time!

I'm sure you're all tired of only hearing of my weight loss, so I want to be sure and catch you up on the rest of our little family! Grab your coffee, sit back, and get ready for a long list of activities and a lineup of pictures from the last few months (yes, months!)

Thane (now 4 months) is our little cuttle bug and he's rarely short on smiles, making every moment a joyful one!

Shae (now nearly 2) is our curious one, she's always asking questions about everything in sight, and pointing out each object and/or person that she sees! She is such a joy to teach already, and she remembers most everything! (Just like her Daddy:)

We managed to get a family picture on Easter Sunday; we also had a wonderful time with most of our family and even a few friends.

Thane and I enjoy swinging on the glider in the shade of the gazebo while Shae plays in the yard

This is how my children have seen me the majority of their lives' :)

Shae has had the privilege of riding with Daddy in the tractor, skid steer, Sky Trak, and the mower recently! So far I've only gotten a picture of the tractor though.

Our project this weekend was to put together Shae's new swing set! With lots of help from Jeremy's parents, Dale and Angel, we were able to get it mostly completed.

Shae loved helping me make a special chocolate pudding pie for Daddy for his birthday on Sunday!

I will try and update on the family more much more often but I hope you enjoyed the highlights of our spring so far!

See the Change!

This last month has been a great one in terms of fitness. I finished the last phase, the Lean phase, of ChaLEAN Extreme and am excited to see the results of the program!
In the last month I have lost: 2 1/2 lbs and 1 1/4 in. I would have preferred these numbers be larger but that's what I get for my excessive "cheat" meals on the weekends.

I have lost 14.5 pounds in the last 3 months of CE and 7 1/4 inches total.
For the next two weeks I will be focusing on recovering my body with a stretch routine and some cardio, before I start P90X.

I am continuing to count and track every calorie I consume and limiting myself to 1600 calories per day but making sure that I keep my body fueled every 2-3 hours so that it can continue building muscle. I still have 26.5 pounds to go in order to meet my goal weight, and just 10.5 pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight just 4 months after little Thane was born. I have to remind myself each day of the progress I have made to motivate myself to keep moving forward; it's easy to get derailed and burned out but after seeing the progress so far, and completing an entire program, I have renewed motivation and I hope that each of you have the motivation to keep moving toward your goals, rather they are fitness goals, or any other area of life!
